These Terms & Conditions apply to your use of this website and to services, classes, events, workshops, consultations, and other offerings provided by Heart Rhythm Reiki.
By using this website, scheduling a service, registering for a class or event, or purchasing an offering from Heart Rhythm Reiki, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
About Heart Rhythm Reiki
Heart Rhythm Reiki is an independent Reiki, sound therapy, yoga, and wellness education practice based in Missoula, Montana.
Services and educational offerings may be provided online, in person, or in other formats as described at the time of booking or registration.
Reiki, Sound Therapy, Yoga, and Wellness Services
Reiki, sound therapy, meditation, yoga, and related practices offered by Heart Rhythm Reiki are intended to support relaxation, personal growth, self-awareness, and general well-being.
These services are complementary wellness practices and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical or mental health condition.
Heart Rhythm Reiki does not provide medical diagnosis, medical treatment, psychotherapy, or other licensed healthcare services through these offerings.
You should seek appropriate medical or mental health care from a qualified professional when needed.
Participation in any service or practice is voluntary, and you are encouraged to communicate your comfort level, preferences, limitations, or concerns at any time.
Individual Results
Experiences with Reiki, sound therapy, meditation, yoga, and other wellness practices vary from person to person.
Heart Rhythm Reiki does not guarantee specific physical, emotional, energetic, spiritual, educational, financial, or other outcomes from participation in a session, class, event, or program.
Any testimonials or personal experiences shared on this website represent individual experiences and should not be interpreted as a guarantee that another person will experience the same results.
Scheduling and Appointments
Appointments are scheduled according to availability.
Some services may be offered live online, while others may be available in person or as mobile services in the Missoula area.
It is your responsibility to provide accurate contact information and to ensure that you have the necessary technology, internet connection, location, or other arrangements required for the service you have scheduled.
Please arrive or connect at the scheduled time so that your full appointment time can be honored.
Cancellations and Rescheduling
Heart Rhythm Reiki currently maintains a 24-hour cancellation policy for individual appointments.
If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please provide at least 24 hours' notice whenever possible.
Late cancellations, missed appointments, or no-shows may be subject to the cancellation terms communicated at the time of booking.
Policies for classes, workshops, sound journeys, retreats, special events, packages, or other offerings may differ from the individual appointment cancellation policy.
When a specific cancellation, refund, transfer, or deposit policy is provided on a registration page, checkout page, confirmation email, or other registration material, that policy applies to that particular offering.
Classes, Workshops, and Events
Registration is required for most classes, workshops, sound journeys, and special events.
Your place may not be considered reserved until any required registration form, deposit, or payment has been received.
Class and event dates, times, locations, instructors, formats, and other details may occasionally need to change due to circumstances beyond Heart Rhythm Reiki's control.
If Heart Rhythm Reiki must cancel an offering, registered participants will receive information about available options, which may include rescheduling, transferring registration, receiving a credit, or receiving a refund as appropriate to the circumstances.
Heart Rhythm Reiki is not responsible for travel expenses, lodging, transportation, lost wages, or other personal expenses incurred in connection with attendance at a class or event.
Deposits, Payments, and Refunds
Prices and payment requirements are provided on the applicable service, class, event, or registration page.
Some offerings may allow or require a deposit, payment plan, or payment in full.
Deposits and payments are subject to the cancellation and refund terms provided for the specific offering.
Payments may be processed through third-party providers such as Square, PayPal, or another payment platform used by Heart Rhythm Reiki.
Heart Rhythm Reiki does not control the processing policies, transaction timing, or technical systems of independent payment providers.
Online Classes and Sessions
Online sessions, classes, consultations, circles, workshops, and events may be offered through Zoom or another online platform.
Participants are responsible for having an appropriate device, internet connection, and private or comfortable environment when needed.
Heart Rhythm Reiki cannot guarantee uninterrupted access to third-party platforms or internet services.
If a technical problem occurs, reasonable efforts will be made to continue, reconnect, reschedule, or otherwise address the situation when appropriate.
Links for private classes, sessions, events, or meetings are intended only for registered participants and should not be shared without permission.
Group Participation and Confidentiality
Heart Rhythm Reiki strives to create respectful and supportive spaces for classes, circles, events, and other group experiences.
Participants may hear personal stories or information shared voluntarily by others.
You are asked to respect the privacy of fellow participants and not disclose another person's personal information, experiences, or stories outside the group without that person's permission.
However, Heart Rhythm Reiki cannot guarantee that information voluntarily shared in a group setting will remain confidential because other participants are independent individuals.
Please use your own discretion when sharing personal information.
ICRT Reiki Classes and Certification
Cami Coté is a Licensed Reiki Master Teacher with the International Center for Reiki Training (ICRT).
Certain Reiki classes offered through Heart Rhythm Reiki are taught according to ICRT standards and may involve registration, student records, class rosters, and certification through the ICRT.
For applicable adult ICRT classes, information required for student registration and certification is submitted to the International Center for Reiki Training through Reiki.org.
By registering for an applicable ICRT class, you acknowledge and agree that required student information may be submitted to the ICRT for purposes including class registration, recordkeeping, roster management, and certificate issuance.
The ICRT maintains its own policies, requirements, systems, and privacy practices. Heart Rhythm Reiki does not control the ICRT's independent administration of its records or website.
Completion of a class and eligibility for a certificate may depend on attendance, participation, completion requirements, and applicable ICRT standards.
Student Responsibility
Reiki classes and other educational programs may include experiential practices, meditation, discussion, partner exercises, self-practice, or other learning activities.
Students are responsible for participating within their own comfort level and communicating when an adaptation, clarification, or pause is needed.
Receiving a Reiki certificate or completing a training does not guarantee professional success, employment, income, clientele, licensing, or compliance with laws governing professional practice in your location.
Students are responsible for understanding any laws, regulations, business requirements, insurance requirements, or professional standards that apply to their own practice.
Children and Teen Participants
Some Heart Rhythm Reiki offerings may be designed for children, teenagers, or families.
Participation by a minor requires the involvement or authorization of a parent, legal guardian, or other authorized adult as appropriate for the offering.
Parents or guardians are responsible for providing accurate information regarding participation, permissions, emergency contact information, and any relevant needs or limitations.
Heart Rhythm Reiki reserves the right to determine whether a particular class, activity, or service is appropriate for a participant based on age, format, supervision requirements, or other practical considerations.
Yoga and Physical Participation
Yoga classes, private yoga sessions, movement practices, breathing practices, and other physical activities involve physical participation and may carry inherent risks.
You are responsible for participating within your own abilities and limitations.
You should stop any activity that causes pain, dizziness, difficulty breathing, or other concerning symptoms and seek appropriate professional care when necessary.
If you have a medical condition, injury, pregnancy, recent surgery, mobility concern, or other condition that could affect safe participation, consult an appropriate healthcare professional when needed before participating.
Animal Reiki
Animal Reiki services and training are complementary practices and are not a substitute for veterinary diagnosis, treatment, or emergency care.
Pet guardians remain responsible for making appropriate veterinary and medical decisions for their animals.
Heart Rhythm Reiki does not diagnose medical conditions or prescribe veterinary treatment.
Mobile and In-Person Services
For mobile services, clients are responsible for providing a reasonably safe and appropriate environment for the scheduled service.
Heart Rhythm Reiki reserves the right to end or decline an in-person or mobile appointment if the environment is unsafe, inappropriate, threatening, or materially different from what was reasonably expected when the appointment was scheduled.
Additional travel charges may apply for services outside the standard service area when communicated in advance.
Respectful Conduct
Heart Rhythm Reiki is committed to maintaining respectful, inclusive, and professional spaces.
Disruptive, threatening, abusive, discriminatory, harassing, or unsafe behavior may result in removal from a class, event, online space, or appointment.
In circumstances involving serious or repeated misconduct, Heart Rhythm Reiki may decline future services or participation.
Any financial outcome in such circumstances will depend on the nature of the situation and the applicable registration or cancellation policy.
Photographs, Recordings, and Media
Heart Rhythm Reiki will not intentionally use identifiable photographs, video, recordings, testimonials, or personal stories of participants for promotional purposes without appropriate permission.
Participants may not record private sessions, classes, workshops, or other educational content without prior permission.
Recording other participants without their consent is not permitted.
If an event is specifically announced as being photographed or recorded, additional notice or consent information will be provided when appropriate.
Educational Materials and Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, written materials, class handouts, meditations, presentations, recordings, website content, graphics, course materials, and other original content created by Heart Rhythm Reiki are protected intellectual property.
Materials provided to students or clients are generally intended for personal or authorized professional use.
They may not be reproduced, sold, published, distributed, uploaded, recorded, taught, or shared publicly without permission except where such use is specifically authorized.
Certain Reiki manuals, trademarks, symbols, course materials, and educational resources may belong to or be licensed through the International Center for Reiki Training or other organizations and remain subject to their respective ownership and use requirements.
